Baseboard repair

by Joel Harss

A piece of baseboard trim in my kitchen was in need of desperate repair. It is in a high traffic area and gets kicked often. There are numerous holes from the times i’ve tried nailing or screwing the piece to the wall and now the plaster behind the trim is in even worse shape. To keep this baseboard in place screws and nails are not the option. For this repair I’m going to use KRAZY TAPE CLEAR BOND.

Start by removing any screws or nails. Fill any holes with putty or plaster. Sand the trim piece. Paint or stain and wait the appropriate amount of time.

Once the piece is dry and ready you’re ready to install. Easily remove the clear tape and green liner from the white backing. Press the tape where the baseboard will go and remove the green liner. Now line up your trim piece in place, press and hold for 30 second.

Now you can worry about everything else that is falling apart in your life.
